79th Edition of the Know India Programme
79th Edition of the "Know India Programme" has been announced to be held from 24th November to 13th December 2024 preferably for the Journalists of Indian Origin stationed overseas. The Know India Programme (KIP) is fully funded by the Government of India Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, where the participant receives free board and lodging, free local transport, free Air ticket (10% to be paid), free Visa and huge opportunity to Know India and visit prestigious Institutes, historical places etc. This is a 3-week orientation & engagement programme for Bharatiya Pravasi Youth. The Know India Programme (KIP) was introduced by the Ministry of External Affairs Government of India, which is a three-week programme connecting Indian diaspora youth with their Indian roots. Its main goal is to enhance their understanding of India, spanning its rich history, culture, and contemporary achievements in various fields like economics, industry, education, science, technology, telecommunications, IT, and space science. KIP participants enjoy exclusive Learning Tours to a wide range of institutions, facilitating deep insights and meaningful interactions with experts and specialists.
Govt. of India WILL PROVIDE FREE BOARD & LODGING and 90% OF TOTAL AIRFARE FROM NZ TO DELHI AND BACK
Applications for KIP from the willing and eligible candidates are invited, as per the details given below:
Eligibility:
• Age: 21 to 35 years
• Education: Graduate from a recognised University or Educational Institution.
• Medical: Medical Fitness Certificate or report.
• Proof/Certificates of Indian origin, such as OCI, etc.
• Undertaking of no one from your family has previously participated in KIP and only one member per family can participate in the same KIP.
