80th & 81st Editions of Know India Programme
The 80th & 81st editions of the KIP are also scheduled to coincide with the upcoming 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) Convention.
As you are aware, KIP of this Ministry aims at engaging with the young Indian Diaspora in the age-group of 21-35 years with the objective to connect them with India. Ministry therefore strives to expose the youth members of the Indian Diaspora to various aspects of contemporary Indian Art, Heritage, Culture, Economy, Innovation, Science & Technology, etc., besides endeavoring to motivate and inspire them to contribute and participate in the transformative initiatives of the Government of India towards the establishment of Viksit Bharat.
Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India invites applications from Indian Diaspora Youth Members, for the 80th & 81st Edition of the flagship "Know India Programme" (KIP) scheduled from 29 Dec 2024 - 17 Jan 2025 & 02 - 21 Jan 2025 respectively.
The Know India Programme (KIP) is fully funded by the Government of India Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, where the participant receives free board and lodging, free local transport, free Air ticket (10% to be paid), free Visa and huge opportunity to Know India and visit prestigious Institutes, historical places etc.
This is a 3-week orientation & engagement programme for Bharatiya Pravasi Youth. Intrested applicants may send nominations to hcoffice.wellington@mea.gov.in; with passport size photo, copy of passport, copy of OCI and graduation certificate with contact details.

- KIP is open to Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) holding passport of New Zealand.
