A Memorandum of Understanding on Technical Cooperation between Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture, and Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Regulatory Authority of NZ on Cooperation on Plant Quarantine Issues was signed in 1999. A Memorandum of Understanding between the Massey University, Landcare Research and the Punjab Agricultural University to strengthen research collaboration in Agriculture was signed in 2006.  Indian Farmers Fertiliser Co-operative Limited (IFFCO), Fonterra Co-operative Group and Global Dairy Health signed a Memorandum of Understanding in November 2010 to jointly conduct a feasibility study into a pilot dairy farm in India as a first step towards the vision of establishing large-scale world-class dairy farms in India. The Ministry of Agriculture of India and the Ministry for Primary Industries of New Zealand signed in New Delhi on 17th July 2012 an Official Assurance Programme for the Export of Mango from India to New Zealand, which will facilitate export of mangoes to New Zealand from the approved VHT facilities. India’s ‘CII Agro Tech’ has signed an MoU with New Zealand’s ‘Fieldays’ on Agribusiness in November 2012.  A two-member delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture, India,  led by Shri Utpak Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary (PP), visited New Zealand from  30th October to 3rd November 2012 for the Annual bilateral Technical Quarantine Meeting.
